Berwick Camera Club Exhibition

St Aidan's Hall, 46 F Church Street, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, TD15 1DX

Come along and see our annual exhibition of images taken by our members who are encouraged to enter a selection of their photographs. Also, see the images taken for a project capturing a year in the life of the Lion’s House historic allotments.

The slide show relating to the allotments captures pictures of the gardeners and allotment holders, what they are growing - vegetables and flowers - and the environment. It's a view from the inside of this historic site where coins and pieces of pottery are often dug up.

There has been a Camera Club in Berwick since the 1940s. The aims of the group have remained the same, to promote the enjoyment of photography through talks, practical sessions and competitions. The club has a strong social element and we are keen that photography is fun. Within the group, there is a wide range of experience from beginners to members with years of experience and a high degree of expertise. All genres of photography are represented in the work of members from the traditional to more contemporary styles. The sharing of knowledge and encouragement to try new things is at the heart of the club. Our exhibition of work will reflect this and so, come along and enjoy our images!
