Stationed in Spittal, the lifeboat service in Berwick has a long history, changing its location between Berwick and Spittal on a number of occasions. Visit the present Lifeboat Station and find out what they do today.
The Berwick Lifeboat Station was first established in Spittal in 1835. It remained there until 1901 when it transferred over to the Berwick side of the River Tweed but then moved back to Spittal again to its present site.
